Book signing by Kelly Cutrone!

A few hours ago I’ve got a message from one of my best friends if I wanted to join her to a book signing session by Kelly Cutrone. Say what?! Ofcourse I jumped up from the couch immediately and got dressed as fast as I could to head to the American Book Center in Amsterdam. Arriving there not many people were lining up yet, so we took our time to flip through all the interesting books. My friend Maura bought Kelly’s first book called ‘If You Have To Cry, Go Outside’ and I’ve bought her newest book ‘Normal Gets You Nowhere’. How cool are these titles alone? Haha!

Kelly was running late but when she got in she started off with a bit of a Q&A as they had done one today where only 60 people could attend. She thought it wasn’t really fair to those who missed out on tickets. There was no rush whatsoever and Kelly took the time to have a little chat with everyone while signing their books, which totally surprised me as for some reason she’s always being portrayed as this bitchy woman.

By the time it was my turn I managed to take a shot together with her! Most people didn’t get the chance as it was too busy so I was quite lucky. She told me that my name was perfectly matching me which I thought was very funny. We talked a bit about travelling and she told me to get a motorcycle and cross the world with it as that would be totally cool. She somehow seemed to know me really well. LOL.
