7 Things I Love This Summer

So, it’s almost the end of the summer and every season calls for a favourites list! This summer has been a little strange, the weather was nothing like you’d expect of it and I’ve not even been to the beach at ALL while I live super close to it! Let me cry in a corner! There was no time and money for a vacation either, but all the drama aside I’ve become hooked on quite some things and enjoyed all the free time. Here is my number 7 list of things that I loved most this summer.
1. Old-Fashioned Bikini’s
These cute adorable soft-coloured bikini’s from Topshop are perfect for a sunny day. Especially strapless tops have become a standard, ’cause the straps don’t irritate in your neck and if you get sunburned you won’t have to walk around with white stripes on your skin for the rest of the season. ;)
2. Nude Coloured Nailpolish
This series of nailpolish by American Apparel work amazing! They stay on your nails for quite a while and cover them completely in only one painting session. Get the whole series to make sure you’ve got a nude colour to match with every outfit you wear – it’s actually coming in a set for a cheaper price.
3. Headbands
You don’t have to be a hippie to love headbands! They seriously make every outfit look fabulous and gives it a little extra. They come in every colour, form and type. My favourites right now are bows, turbans in nude colours, and braids. Good thing is you can actually wear them throughout every season.
4. Chuck
I can safely say I’m obsessed with Chuck to a point where I can’t go a night without watching! This TV show is absolutely my favourite ever and has it all; drama, romance, action, and even comedy. Season 1 to 4 can be found online, and season 5 is going to air later this year. Be careful though, because a daily dose might trick you into thinking you’re having a spymance with Chuck. <3
5. Nude Coloured Clothing
Nude is one of my favourite colours for every piece of clothing right now. It’s such an easy colour to match and it looks clean, gorgeous and sophisticated all at the same time. It softens up your overall look and is almost becoming the new black for me. You just can’t go wrong.
6. Dr. Brandt Skincare
A few weeks ago I was out to buy some new make-up and happened to run into a woman there who gave advice about skincare. My skin isn’t always flawless and I’ve tried new products countless times without really knowing what I was putting on my face. So I asked her what she’d recommend and she introduced me to Dr. Brandt. The products are quite expensive, but it’s your face so it’s worth to take care of!
7. Jamie Woon
This singer/songwriter from the UK has a name to remember. He recently released his debutalbum ’Mirrorwriting’ and is ready to take over the world – at least judged by my ears! His songs are refreshing, magical and sound nothing like you’ve ever heard before. At the moment he’s doing different festivals throughout Europe so be sure not to miss out.
